Nadec

Blackie can talk to Nadec in her head. She flew her and Kitty away from Wyny while he was getting surrounded by others. Nadec wants to get back to help him, but Blackie finds a way to explain why that's not a good idea.

As if hearing the voice of Blackie in her head wasn't funky enough, Blackie appears able to replay other voices as well. Unfortunately, the strangers had nothing good to say. Betrayal. Struggling with all her emotions--fresh and older ones--together with still not knowing where they are, Nadec goes for a walk by herself. Once again, The Other Realm throws a myth her way. Though this one may prove to be useful.

Walking away from the gorwak doesn't work. He lures her in his home by offering something she was searching for. They discover Nadec has something to offer the gorwak as well.

The lucky encounter with the gorwak provides Nadec with the alcohol she'd been searching for. She can finally allow herself to drown her sorrows.

Nadec believes she's come up with a plan to get her to her employers--and hopefully safety.

Nadec skipped back to her employers. She is tired of all the obvious lies. Determination to find out more truths is her main motivation. And hunger.
